We'll be at the Spring 2012 Club Fest this coming Tuesday. Feel free to stop by to give your support and pick up your copy of the publication there as well. In addition, if you feel like volunteering some time to maintaining the table at said club fest, send President Mike an e-mail or find him on Facebook. Incidentally, you can tell us whether you can help on our Facebook group page as well.

Select here, For those awesome people who found out about our awesome club from the Club Fest, you may have taken interest in our club with but the two minutes you spent at the table. However, what happened during the other hours that the Club Fest was active? Well, to satisfy no one's curiosity, here's but some of the Not Meeting Minutes But Club Fest Minutes that were recorded first by me then Dan Constales.
CLUB FEST MINUTES
10:34- Mike cuts himself, bleeds excessively but continues on to carry the publication on like a true trooper (That's True Grit there ~Select)
10:48- Mike is proud of comic fan he set up :D
10:57- 900 dollars for razor blades
11:06- Dan had lunch not with Beetle Juice, but within his general facinity.
11:17- Select is going to moonlight for Xiao Wei of the Mathematics Society (go )
11:34- Dan reveals plan for a Gotham City amusement attraction, featuring such oddities like the alley where the Waynes were murdered but with skeletons still there
11:52- I don't think Xiao Wei is coming back...
11:58- Xiao Wei is back :D Wendy is doing a sign for him
12:00- Here comes the crowd! 0__o
12:11- We joke of what would happen if the Suite Life Series' Zack and Cody stars Cole and Dylan Sprouse were to just happen to come to the Comic Book League table.
12:12- We met with the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. One of the Sprouse Twins legitimately interested with our club (I'm sorry to say I can't remember which one) We were stunned for a few moments
I swear they are ninjas. Those two are up to something...
12:30- Something or other...
12:31- hears Pokemon Snap in the Background
12:55- The Magic words to draw peoples' attention is "resume"
1:06- Publicate is indeed a word, at least from now it is
From this point on Dan bothered to do the minutes to some degree. Since he placed me in a bad light, my revenge upon him will be someday soon. I'm not going to say when and where, but trust me when I say that vengeance will be mine.
1:25- Sales pitches are sale pitches
1:30- Select leaves. Traitor.
1:31- Had to explain to Vietnamese Club that Thai club has better hookers.
1:41- EVERYONE CAN EAT S***!
2:48- Eitan Steals Comic Books
Around this point is when President Mike took the Minutes...
5:05- ClusterF*** at the entrance. Rain & Wristbands are bad combination
5:20- WIll is a better prmotion man fro the Math Society than the Math Society. "What kind of calculators you guys got? ...That derivatives, does rights?"
5:32- Will & Mike break off to take over another table thus forming CBL Beta/ The Bay Breeze Boys
5:34- That old magic is kinda there
5:41- The scales goes from Smoking, Sizzling, Well Crafted
5:50- "I gotta deactivate my email!"
5:56- Euclid is shaping up to be a fun character- The Kid Kobra Story lines just keep flowing.

I do have to say that I was very proud of our members and the work they put in. Everyone stopped by and helped out, whether it was handing out flyers and publications, drawing an awesome banner (thanks, Wendy), or joining us at the table and getting people to sign-up. It was crowded. It was hot as heck. It was Fall Club Fest 2010.

2:30 -Sci-Fi Club breaks Club Code by using images of Batman and “Watchmen” on their promotional material -BULLSHIT!
2:38 -Will calls out a guy wearing the same exact shirt he’s wearing.
2:43 -“I’m peaking, I’m peaking!” -Will
2:48 -“Look at this dork -not you, ma’am.” -Will
3:05 -Return of Selecthumor…Hello-o-o, Michael!
3:15 -Lunch break. First appearance of Nega-Courtney.
4:15 -“Get that socialist crap off my table” -Will
It’s got everything you hate about big conventions: it gets hot and stuffy, there’s way too many people shoved into small aisles limiting pedestrian traffic, tons of freebies that end up on the floor or in the trash, and remarkably strange booths manned by aggressive table jockeys.
And yet there’s an unmistakable excitement –a certain magic in the air, if you will –when you’re pressing the flesh at your group’s table, spreading the Gospel of the Comic Book League.
12:17: Phil and Mike start unbuttoning their shirts in the Kimmel Lounge.
12:27: Impromptu photo session.
12:45: A foot race between Superboy (Phil) and Spider-Man (Mike) on the rooftop track of Coles seems like a good publicity stunt at the time. Also, Taimur’s alleged fear of elephants.
1:26: Phil and Mike inconspicuously steal chairs from other tables, thus breaking the Club Fest record for “The Largest Number of People Sitting at One Club’s Table” at 4 people.
2:25: Shattered the previous year’s total of people who signed up.
2:37: Guy wearing “Ghostbusters” t-shirt passes by for the third time. He still ignores Taimur.
2:38: Taimur considers throwing candy bar at him…again.
2:48: “If I didn’t care about the First Days of Animal Man and the Middle Days of Animal Man, why would I care about the Last Days of Animal Man?” –Mike.
2:53: Banana peel guy.
3:03: Finished our first sign-up sheet!
3:10: Met Jack Kirby’s great nephew.
3:16: And then there were 2…
3:43: Taimur is finally recognized…sorta.
3:45: Finished our second sign-up sheet!
4:00: And there was 1…
4:20: We’re at 48 names on the list!
4:25: Taimur and Phil spot a guy with Venom shirt. He signs up.
4:28: What Taimur looks for in a woman…hilarity ensues.
4:30: What Phil looks for in a woman.
4:36: Taimur throws a piece of chocolate at a guy with a Batman shirt on. He was still unresponsive.
4:40: Taimur actually starts reading “DC Superfriends”. Engergy/Excitement levels going down. “It’s what I thought it would be,” Taimur said.
4:45: “Xice” is allegedly the best comic alive, according to one passerby.
5:10: Guy with “X-Men” shirt signs up. Almost simultaneously, Taimur begins talking comics with the guy at the Christian (SEED) table next to us.
5:25: We set up over two tables!
5:26: Courtney’s back!
5:37: Phil leaves.
5:38: Phil pretends to be a potential member.
5:41: Courtney and Taimur think about starting a dance party.
5:43: Successful flag down of guy wearing a Batman hat.
5:55: The Comic Book League is going to help out Homecoming!
5:56: 4th sign-up sheet filled!
6:13: Mike returns. Also tries to be potential member.
6:27: Taimur leaves. Asked him to get 100 Nazi scalps; he got 200.
6:36: In-depth discussion of “Inglourious Basterds”. Conclusion: Christoph Waltz should win an Academy Award for his role as Col. Hans Landa.
