Some of my thoughts:
Mark Waid - Too magical. He might be one of the best Cap writers of all time, but I could do without all the supernatural stuff he throws at Steve Rogers.
Robert Kirkman - Very unambitious. He is a great writer, but he didn't even seem to be trying during his Cap run.
Ed Brubaker - The best of all time. He actually got me, and A LOT of other people, back into the character. Long live Bucky!!!
