With Apologies to Travis the Chimp...and Obama

Not too long ago during a very special Black History Month, the NY Post published a very controversial cartoon of the death of Travis the Chimp (may he rest in monkey heaven) prompting one of our many meeting discussions

    You can bet your sweet race card that this takes the cake...but before it does, it drives by the cake's house at night. Then it starts making phone calls to the cake's house all hours of the day and doesn't say anything, it just breathes. Finally, it lights a giant burning candle on the cake's front lawn...then it takes the cake...and does something unspeakable to it, but because its the South, they keep quiet about it.

    I can neither confirm nor deny.....;)

    In truth, this wasn't my store. (that's a relief). Artist Ethan Van Sciver posted it on a message board that he saw from writer Gail Simone's blog and as soon as I saw it-BAM Travis the Chimp came to mind.
